Having lived, studied and worked in the USA and Singapore, Garrick brings a wealth of international experience to Kay and Burton. He is a proficient negotiator in several languages, including Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien.

After graduating with a degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, Garrick worked in a number of roles that revolved around real estate including Urban Planning, Design and Project Management. Notably, he initiated the design concept and was subsequently involved in the revamp of Lloyds Inn in Singapore, which saw an ageing budget hotel transformed into one of the most coveted boutique hotels in town.

Garrick was drawn to settle in Melbourne because of its high quality of living, prosperous economy and thriving art scene. He was attracted to Kay and Burton for its impeccable client service and lasting relationships with its clients, and the career development opportunities that allow him to leverage his global exposure and multi-lingual ability in his home city.

Outside of work, Garrick can be found carefully tending to his bonsai, fishing, or catching an exhibition at one of Melbourne’s fantastic galleries. He is meticulous in all that he does, and is known for going above and beyond to regularly exceed client expectations.
