Peninsula Hot Springs

After the stress of lockdown and home schooling, it’s time to unwind with a restorative experience.

The Peninsula Hot Springs is an award winning natural hot spring, day spa and wellness destination in Rye.  It’s a place to indulge in self-care, explore the winding paths and natural geothermal waters, either in peaceful solitude or reconnecting with family and friends.

And if that isn’t enough, be one of the first to experience the Peninsula Hot Springs luxurious ‘glamping’ stays. Available from December 1, the newest accommodation on the Peninsula is nestled in the natural surrounds of the hot springs, with private decks, ensuite bathrooms, king beds and bespoke elements inspired by the environment.  Bliss.

Bushrangers Bay

If some outdoor exercise and a change of scenery is on the agenda, a trek to Bushranger’s Bay will impress.  The 2.5km cliff top walk from Cape Schanck provides arguably some of the best coastal scenery in Melbourne.

Named after two escaped convicts, Bushranger’s Bay features a sandy beach surrounded by volcanic black rocks, emerging from clear blue water. Choose the time of your hike wisely (low tide), and you’ll be rewarded with pristine rockpools to cool off in.

Once a local secret, this place is so beautiful it was the location of choice for the film adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are.
