The NGV is the oldest and most visited gallery in Australia.

Kay & Burton is a proud supporter of the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and Principal Event Partner of the NGV Women's Association.

With over three million visitors in 2017, the NGV is Australia’s most visited art museum. Kay & Burton supports the interests of the NGV by helping to fund works of art for the NGV collections and through a travel scholarship for NGV curators.

We love the NGV and we share a genuine interest in art with our clients. With the ever-growing popularity of the NGV, we are fortunate as part of our partnership to enjoy private viewings, co-hosted by NGV curators, and special onsite events with our clients.

Rigg Design Prize

Recognising excellence in Australian design, the Rigg Design Prize is the highest accolade for contemporary design in Australia. On 11 October 2018, Melbourne design practice Hecker Guthrie was awarded the prestigious Rigg Design Prize. Danielle Brustman, a Melbourne-based interior and set designer, was awarded as runner-up.

Escher x nendo | Between Two Worlds

The Escher X nendo | Between Two Worlds exhibition features the mathematically-inspired work of Dutch graphic artist M. C. Escher. Escher's work is presented in dialogue with the work of acclaimed Japanese design studio nendo, whose company concept is to collect and communicate the small '!' moments that we so often miss, or normalise, in everyday life.
